Well i just bought another baby beardie today and when i put him in with my female, the female started to wave. The dragons are both 3 1/2 months old. Why is she waving already? ?

male and female youngsters will do this, they are probably trying to figure who is dominant, the waving is a submissive behaviour. she really should have been quarantined before introduced to the dragon you already had, 60-90 days and 2 clear fecals 2 weeks apart. youll have to seperate them within a couple months anyhow, he will think hes ready to breed far before she physically will be able to handle it.

Yup Reiko is right they do that to determine dominance in the tank. Did you purchase the new male from the same breeder you bought the female form earlier? If so probably did not need to quarantine the new one, but in the future it probably would be wise to do that. Also does your new beardie have a tail nip? Well congrats on the new beardie!
Yes i bought him from the same breeder and they stayed in the same cage. A tail nip?? What is that?
Yea it looks like he does have a tail nip... Why you ask?
Yup, looks like a tail nip to me. That is when the tank mates think the end of his tail looks like food and they try a bite. Also, you might want to re-think your hammock there also. I heard stories about them getting their claws stuck in that type of mesh. Christyj makes a nice one and you might want to think about one of them. Here is the link for it:

Good luck,
