I have done it with no issue, and wouldn't hesitate to do it again. The only issue with my pied hatchlings is most of the beautiful little buggers and the hardest things in the world to get eating on a regular basis. I have bred pied to pied, het to pied, and het to het and I think they are all about the same. Some eat good, and others do not. Once they hits the few hundred gram mark you're out of the weeds usually, and can get them feeding every week. Hope this helps man.

There is a breeder I personally know in Florida who has done this pairing close to 150 times with no noticeable problems.
