Thanks Thomas......
These are rather peculiar snakes....

They hatch out with full red saddles then lose it over time......
I call it Hypo-E because there is remnant erythrin.....If the erythrin was totally absent it would be replaced with no color at all......WHITE.......
An anery example would be the Black Gap anery alterna....They are gray, black and white......
One of the reasons I think the anery hondos are really hypo-e.....just my opinion though......

Another cool thing is the fact that the parent to these snakes eventually lost all her pink/salmon too.....She looks anery now.......

Kinda like owning three different snakes in one......

And when a black mex mex with pink saddles hits the scene they will be killer......BTW....I'm working on that....Along with the granites and stripes........

Thanks....I can't wait either......
Hopefully in a couple parental generations we will see something similar but I'd rather refine a look than to zip one into the market that is mediocre.......

Thanks Ryan.....I didn't know anything about these until 2007.....
I did alot of research on these and they trace back to Bob Applegate......All of Bob's Mex Mex were from wild collected animals from the Valle de los Fantasmas.....East of San Luis Potosi City, Mexico......
There are only a handful of folks working with these in the nation.....
