TimS Aug 14, 2010 12:44 AM

well I did some trading and swaping and got a few new lil critters

we will start on topic

Male, DA-MI het hypo

Female MI-DU hypo

two together

Then i took a huge dive lol

Male genetic stripe reticulated python. normally I like the clean clear silvery back but I couldnt resist this full black stripe down his back.

also this lil female het for genetic stripe came with the deal tho I am unsure if I will keep her or what im going to do with her for sure yet. she is nearing the end of a shed cycle

you dont have to be into retics to like stripes lol they look good in any type of snake. yeah I think those two rainbow will make some STUNNING babies. the het literally glows when i open his cage. Even my brother whom is not fond of snakes goes WOW that is a nice looking animal.

Those BRB's are killer but that GS retic is stunning, I bet he'll silver out for you pretty good, looks like he already is some.

While I totally agree with Tim's choice to not go into details from his side since it was my fault I on the other hand am OK with the story being public.

Tim originally bought a 1.1 pair of DA-MI hets. When they arrived he found both were males. Crap, mistakes do happen. Of course I wanted to make it right and offered the only female from the pairing I had left - my hold back. I really felt Tim felt bad about taking my hold back even though I was fine with it. Eventually after several emails and possible combinations of trades etc. Tim decided to upgrade to a Hypo Female. When the het male came back I palpated him several times before I found his package. That male is not well hung at all, I can see how I missed it. Bottom line IMO is Tim is better off with this pair. This unrelated Het x Hypo pair should produce nice and healthy hets and Hypos, no possibles in the lot.

Tim was very understanding and patient through the whole process and I very much appreciate that.

Dave, I've always held you in high regard and this just reinforces it. Not only do you have amazing animals, but you go above and beyond to make sure people are satisfied. I can't wait to take a few more BRBs off your hands this year.

Nice couple pairs of snakes! Those retics won't be "lil" for
much longer, though. Are they pretty flighty or are they fairly tame?

Congrats on the nice pickups.

TimS Aug 16, 2010 10:44 PM

they are pretty good. I use a hook just to pick em up but since I just got them I dont handle them really yet. when I was picking them out they didnt even strike at me tho lol they did try to bite my buddy while sexing them lol.

tho they wont be tiny forever these also will not be giants since they have both selayer blood in them and i believe jampea dwarf blood also. both of witch stay smaller then the common mainland monsters.
