The original came from Fish Springs Utah. A local guy found it while he was fishing about 10 years ago. It was hatchling. He knew it was different so kept it. A friend of mine ended up getting from that guy after he had raised up.

It makes me wonder what other morphs are out in the middle of the desert. Lots of habitat in the west.
