Tame as could be? most of the net was strangling upper mid section ,so the whole time i was snipping it free from the netting there always a foot or two of neck and head free and nver got defensive almost as it knew i was helping? after he was free , a solid 5 or 10 minutes to cut him out,i threw him on my shoulders went inside and got the camera ,Tonite i will return it this evening to my back yard.
Way to rescue the poor guy!

I can see why they gave the name coachwhip to this snake. This animal looks like a streak of greased lightning, when it is not balled up in netting, of course! LOL!

Sounds like all in all a cool and rewarding experience for both of you. 
I was a good feeling for us both after hydrating and short recovery it went back to a defensive open mouth, striking behaveor upon release
