What is the best looking axanthic? I'm looking to get involed with them, but i don't really know the differences between the different types.

I've heard the VPI line is the best!

vpi is considered to be the best followed by snake keeper`s/sk`s and finally joliff`s but to be honest with you in the end when there adults there all just brown looking ball pythons but personally i would go vpi if thats what i was into. regards

If you want an axanthic that won't look like a normal after 6 moths, DEFINITELY go with a Corey Woods line red axanthic. Not only are they do-dominant, so you can see results with the het red after just one generation of breeding, but the red axanthic looks out of this world AND looks even better into adulthood.

It's more of a popularity contest.
There are good examples of the VPI and SK line and there
are those that brown out.
Since most breeders are really working with combos I don't
think it matters.
Pastel Axanthics are awesome when made with either line.
Can't comment on the Joliff line since I haven't worked
with it.

My best axanthic and best adult axanthic I have ever seen personally seen is a Jolliff strain. I think you can have great examples and poor examples of each line, just like the different lines of pastels. Selective breeding will give you the best axanthic.
