Nice king! Not a rare look but the striped kings are restricted to a smaller range than the banded kings. The black & white striped kings are hard to find in the wild.

yeah I like the stripes over the banded. But I'm not a big Cal king fan.

You don't like to get chewed on? LOL

Very nice looker by the way. For me the Stripes are so nice because they stand out in such nice contrast to the majority of banded and ringed brethren. Also find the evenly speckled kings atractive too for the same reason, not that the banded sub species lack for beauty!

I can deal with the chewing. They just don't push my buttons. I've had plenty in the past and some of the newer ones are enticing I have to admit, but I'll stick to the eastern big boys.

Striped cal kings are pretty common and are fairly cheap.

Still nice looking, but I'm partial to cal kings.

I've got some surprises this year.

Thanks for all the good words!

I am very impressed with most every kingsnake I see on this forum. Pretty impressed with how much color and pattern vary based on geographic location. As happened with leopard geckos, i'm sure that eventually I will be pulled to be take care of/be a friend to another morph.

Thanks!
