They're messing with me this year big time. I keep checking on what I think will be the next girl to deliver and finding babies in another cage...
Checking on Eve (due tomorrow, 08/19) and found Harriet had dropped her babies today, 8 days before her due date. I was on my way out to work so could do nothing but a couple of quick pics of the pile in the hide box and put them back. Will post them later.
So far this year.....
Female - due date - actual date - delta
Tawney - 08/08 - 08/02 - 6 days early
Wilma - 08/02 - 08/12 - 10 days late (and lost several)
Harriet - 08/26 - 08/18 - 8 days early
Maybe not so far off after all if you use due date plus or minus a week. IMO Wilma lost a good number of babies to hatching inside her and drowning.
