I had a female drop a seven egg clutch early this week. I bred her to my male pastel back in early march, so I had pretty much given up hope of her laying, and this surprised me.
I didn't have an incubator set up, and the eggs stayed in the cage with the female wrapped tightly around them for two days. I now have the eggs in a per-lite and water mixture that is keeping the humidity around 85-90% and the box is on the warm end of the cage with temps around 90. I have an incubator on the way, should get here tomorrow.
One of the eggs on top is pretty badly caved in on one side, and I'm pretty sure it is not going to make it. The others in the cluster (the eggs were stuck together, and I didn't want to risk cutting them apart) have turned partially translucent on the side that is deepest in the per-lite. I can see faintly some of the veings beneath the shell.... was wondering if this is a problem what can I do to fix it??
Will post pics as soon as I can.
