..A few more. Probably drove 15 crotalus in the one night/subsequent morning. Lots of early morning snakes warming up from the previous night's rain. 3 gorgeous Gopher Snakes as well.

Nice! Especially, the Heterodon there. I love Hognoses, that one looks like it was performing...
Matthew
Good call! Right after I snapped the pic it rolled, smelled like a rancid skunk, and bled! Looked immediately like road-kill!
Bill
I had one for a pet for over a decade that would always hiss & bluff strike all the time. It even would rasp scales & coils together sounding all TOO MUCH like a Saw scaled Viper! But she never would play dead. Maybe too use to people, it was a CB.
Matt
I dig that hognose too, and that last rattlesnake almost looks patternless.
That looks like it was a good herping trip!
Tim
Excellent eyes you have there Tim! Unless the sun hit it just right it did appear patternless! A very cool snake for sure.
Bill
Love the pic of the hog!

your pic labeled as a massasauga is actually a prairie rattler. Nice pics though.
