Back to KINGS! Some recent additions!

jeff schofield Aug 20, 2010 01:19 PM

I was TOTALLY lucky to approach Will Still at the right time to talk him out of this project. This is his adult male LAVENDER Chain king, from what I understand the only one around. Should spice some things up!

Here is a really nice adult male HYBINO Brooksi I got from ISIS, love the snakes that feed on the day they arrive!

I know there will be better pics to come, but I found my camera from the jagermeister/streaking night so the pics should get better again.

This girl should make some killer babies next year.

From a Bell line HYPO x ghost brooksi.

I got a trio of mystery hets from the Bells and this was one of the 3 babies that hatched this season. The orange keeps getting stronger.

jeff schofield Aug 20, 2010 01:40 PM

This one has all kinds of oranges and greens in it, hope you can see them.

I see the one I told you about earlier that he had got your blood racing!!!. That is the one he had in Hubbs' book, correct?

Hope you don't immediately start crossing it with all sorts of other nonsense Jeff!. That one needs to be kept true to form bro!

It would be a HUUUUUUGE mistake to do otherwise in my opinion.

Hopefully he told you some stuff about it too!

Doug, Will included a het female and I have several "pure" females for him. There is little or nothing for locality info, but dropping that gene into a dirty gene pool may make some funny colors no? There should be enough "pure" animals for the nazis, as I'm sure the scutiny will only come up every couple months or so....I hate stupid people, anyone else? Doug? Know what I mean?

DMong Aug 20, 2010 05:48 PM

"I hate stupid people"

Yeah, me too!, I couldn't have said it better!!

Dropping the gene into a dirty pool will make EVERYTHING worthless from that animal IMO. No offense Jeff, but folks may not put much stock in animals touted as pure coming from a breeder who also openly sells hybrids carrying the gene if you know what I mean. There will always be speculation and mistrust IMO. But, thats only my opinion and its your critter.

Jeff Schofield Aug 20, 2010 09:01 PM

EVERYONE has a snake whos gene has been "adulterated" somewhere in the hobby. Honest representation is honest representation so I can sleep well at night. Keeping records to f5 isnt normal for most keepers, but I have such records for some of these. And they arent "hybrids" they are "intergrades" of subspecies, hardly blastphemous unless you are a "locality nut". I expect to have to retell the story Will Still told me about every month because most will assume it is a "intergrade" already. Lets have a wager today, August 20th, how many times in the next year some doofus comes on here asking for its history, doubting its purity. Its a MORPH, and it should be treated like one, not like any special "pure" snake. It can look good all dressed up and it can look good naked. I am only the one taking the picture! LMAO>

DMong Aug 20, 2010 09:17 PM

Oh Jeff!!, C'mon man...I see you asking history on people's animals all the time, so in your very own terminology, that would most certainly include you as a "doofus" too, correct??

See the irony there???. Nobody questioned that animal yet anyway.

Someone politely asking about a history has nothing at all to do with stupidity. Try to remember that the next time you ask someone the history on a temporalis or whatever over on the milk forum..

If you didn't say such obnoxious things to people, you would probably save at least half the battle right off the bat I would think.

Doug, you are welcome to look at the archaives and see that I am the educator not the doofus. I'm thinking HARD on this, there are alot of morph histories over the years. I may have had a good laugh at Doc's expense in regards to that Lav Eastern milk, LMAO. The only idiocy I can recall was when I was badgering Gulf Coast reptile to send me adult pics of their BLAZE Goini morph.(I wasnt alone) OK, if you want to include the recent T plus Eastern go ahead I wont stop you. There is but 1(!!) of these things EVER, its not like it was published in a good book or anything! LMAO! And for those who dont understand sarcasm, Doug wants to buy you a beer and a bridge!

DMong Aug 21, 2010 07:52 AM

Alas Mr. "educator",...tell me something I didn't already know?..LOL!

And yes, I certainly do agree with you on many things of course. For example, I knew that T-plus was a definite Eastern milk on the other forum the very second I laid eyes on it too, it was extremely obvious to you and I, not to mention the other things you mentioned of course.

Now on the subject of snake identification, I would say that I have properly identified approx. 99 percent of the snakes over on the "what is it" forum over the years, no matter what part of the world they were from, so I would say my ID skills are a tad above your average "Joe Cornsnake" dude, and I am quite sure you know this too.

Anyway, I am off to Daytona in just a few minutes, so I will certainly be checking out some of the silly deli cup labels there..LMAO!!

.............WOOO-HOOOO!!

I haven't heard the story once yet? What is the story? Just curious. Also just save it in an email where you can just copy and post it. Some of you guys that say, you have already argued these points before and are done! Are being a bit stuck up INMO. it's like hey if you just recently joined the forum your not worth my time to explain anything. I don't see it that way. If your too busy then stay away! There are new people getting involved in thios hobby everyday and they look to the experienced herpers for advice and info. If we just tell them I already said that, go hunt down my post from last year, then don't turn around and argue that sales are down and no one is buying. I wouldn't buy from arrogant a88e8 either! Just my opinoin and I'll stick to it!!!!!
