I didnt get to go this year,but friends are there txn me on just how low prices are. Albino boas $100. I was also told Pieds are going cheap too. Woma Pythons 100 ea. !Anyone else hearing the same ?

Wow,....good thing you posted that on here...otherwise the market might not have dropped 22% this week alone.......yea....
maybe I'll get 40% on the dollar for my stuff this year yet....

Same thing happened last year and the year before that. Just wait till Sunday afternoon.

All the locals know Sunday is the day to buy. This is the 2nd year in 15 that I have'nt been able to go. I went last year and it was smaller compaired to the shows of past. Its in the new section which is smaller from what Im told.

That's because it gets pretty old loading up, traveling across the country, paying table fees, and watching someone else undercut the market by 50% or more.

Daytona won't be much of a show as long as it continues

......I went one time...2002....wasn't that impressed that I want to take 4 days and drive 16 hours each way to see a show....

I can drive 1 hour ,setup in an hour and see crowdssss of people jamming into Hamburg Pa Fieldhouse....no matter what the temp is without AC./.......

and have prices dropped just the same.....and at 9 am door open not Sunday afternoon.....

Hamburg - made mistake of going in August a couple years ago, mid 90s in there and elbow to elbow sweaty people, will go again but not in mid summer LOL...

2 weeks ago...was not that bad actually and people were buying stuff......less people more money...cool....still hot....I had fans at each end of two tables.....I stand all day and talk....and drink water and eat nothing....not one bite....
I actually didn't eat till the snakes were back in their cages that night.....ask how many people can do that......(I live 1 hour away..LOL)...

....it's ok there at the "BuRg.......could be alot better......

I love going to that show...even just to look...lol...but usually I have to buy something...but it is good to hear more sales are the norm latley.

depends on what you have to sell...they buy alot or nothing....I have done totally crap at the show already.....I used corns as a guide this year......I put corns on table and just write 10 on them, not what they are not sexed not anything just 10....and this year they sold pretty well......(yes some are ultramel lavenders selling online for 100$ but who cares)....10

last year....5 and they didn't sell.....so it's getting better?...

Your friend must have a better eye than me! I didn't see an albino boa under $200. Pieds were average $1000-$750 on the low.
Cheap stuff could be found.... But who wants cheap animals! If you want the best... The best things in life don't come for free!

I would have to agree 100%, There will always be a few in a crowd selling junk animals for far less then what they are worth. For the most part, I was happy to see prices at a stable level. 85% of the pricing was consistant with KS adds. I was there both days.

I was there all weekend, did not see those low prices either.Had a good time and big thanks to all that came by.Terry
