Changing Colors?

airbornehodges Aug 22, 2010 09:05 AM

As my "Normal" ball grew up (now about 2 years old) his color began to change. He now has very defined dark spots around his belly and his golden brown and black body(with a few white spots) is now has more white, yellow, caramel, and his once jet black is now fading into a much lighter shade. Along with this lightening in color his black areas are giving way to brown spots...

So my question, is this normal? Do I have an amazing color changing snake? Is he still considered normal?

He does have a little reduced pattern, hes a nice looking Ball Python. But, I think he will be referred to as a 'Normal' until he is proven to be Genetic. Which is unlikely, but possible.
Id like to hear other peoples opinions on this one, but too me he looks Normal.
