Actually this is a good resource if you have the time to sift thru the search engine on this site. It's not the best I've evr seen but you should be able to find good info. Their breeding is pretty straight forward unless you listen to the snake whisperers here, lol. Keep them warm and feed them heavy especially the females then in fall cut back on the food a at least two or three weeks prior to cooling them for 60 to 90 days. Then introduce them to each other and watch and see what happens. Hopefully they will breed right away! If not repaet the process many times over the spring and summer. Even if they do breed it would be wise to continue pairing them untill the female flat out rejects the male and she looks gravid. There are many finer details I left out but questions here are usually answered freely by most. There are debates over whether Cooling is necessary and whether to keep the together or apart, but I just gave the basic standard way it's been done over the last 20 or 30 years. Then you have issues on Nest boxes and what substrate to use and what temps to incubate and all. But Hang out here and you'll learn quite a bit. Other than that I recomend getting some good books there are some excellent books out there some aren't very expensive and some can be a bit costly, it's up to you. I collect books also so I have a few and next on my list is Hubbs Kingsnake book.

Brooks are happy to breed w/o much research, In the spring adults seem to copulate upon Intro in most cases almost immediatly, some keep multiples together year round (I Dont). This is probably the best info site on fl. kings.forum and all. Good Luck next season not to say that its too late this year ,ive had luck in Aug. problem the babies that hatch 3 monthes from now ussually under normal conditions wont feed till spring after a winter nap
