over the year from talking emailing different people I think I have put together the history of the longicauda morphs and where they came from. if IM wrong and misspell any bodys name please forgive me.
So the anery longicaudas showed up in a couple different litter of F1's and it was late decided that some of the adult wild caughts where in fact anerys and not just dark animals as was thought when they came in. So the anerys came from multiple blood lines and showed up right from the begining.
Hypos I haven't heard anything about these for several years now and hopefully they are alive and kicking. they should be about ready to breed ether last season or this coming one. if any body know where they are please please let me know. I think there are 4 four total 3 from one litter and single from a different breeder.
Now the Atomics, zeros, striped, reduced pattern and the hypermel (eclipse) longicauda all trace back to the same female. I guessing on the atomics but i bet if they dig they will find they all are related. the first litter of atomics had some reduced pattern babies in it and at the time it looked like they might have been the co-dom form of atomics. that doesn't appear too be the cause right now but we will see. that same reduce pattern showed up in a litter here that was produced from whittenywee's blood line. which are sisters to my founding female that produced the hypermel and striped longicauda. Both females came from John Meltzer's oldest wild caught female at the time. I have heard and for different reasons believe its the case that this female was Joel Rosen's female that founded the Bill Edlebrock line that the Zeros came from. I think that this one female that Joel had is where all the new longicauda morphs are coming from not an like the Honduran female produce the T albinos and the onyx morph. How Does this sound? any thoughts?
