Thought I'd take a picture showing one of each of the 9 types of babies that I got from my pair of hets. Also took a video. The photo and video are of a Normal, Albino, Anery, Charcoal, Hypo, Diffused, Granite, Fire, Blizzard, and the little Gray mystery baby. I've picked out 4 keepers but think I might end up keeping a couple more... Wish I could keep one of each of the morphs. Don't have that much room though...

Nice bucket of corns...so now that you are keeping at least 4 of them..going to name them off more Harry Potter characters? You could always call the charcoal or anery Snape, the bloods (if you kept any) Fred and George (if you kept two that is), then the others can be Harry, Ron, Hermione.

Snape would work, I try to stay away from Gryffindors as much as possible though... Rather a fan of Slytherin... Hence Lucius, Narcissa, Bellatrix, Salazar, Nagini... I did allow for Nymphadora just cuz she was awesome and I love the name. And I let Luna slip past because she's my fav non Slytherin chick. Aragog wasn't really house specific. Along those same lines I could use Fang or Fluffy even though Hagrid did tend to favor the Gryffindors over the Slytherins (shame on him). I could use a Voldemort. I'm saving Draco for my first male Blue Eyed Leucistic Ball Python. If the Fire is a girl I'll name her Ginny, Gryffindor I know but she did cross over temporarily and do the Dark Lord's bidding even if she didn't do it by her own choice... and I couldn't pass up naming my biggest BP girl Madame Olympe Maxime (the giant head mistress of Beauxbatons)...

Since you are a big fan of Slytherin (and I have to admit I would like the Slytherins more than the Gryffindor 'trio', always felt Harry was bit of an idiot). There are plenty of Slytherins left to use. Flint, Rodolfus, Rabastian, Greyback, Crabbe, Goyle, McNair, Dolohov, Higgs (played Seeker in Harry's first year, before Draco took over in Second year), and there are others...which I can't recall off the top of my head.. oh wait, there's Nott, senior and Junior.

The problem is finding good girl names. HP is very male dominated. And since my collection is geared towards breeding I have alot more females than males....

very true...Not alot of good girl names in slytherin either... Pansy Parkinson is the only one that pops into mind...Unless you want to use the Noble House of Black's 'tree' to determine some female Slytherin names...though you are using two already, (Narcissa and Bellatrix) but I don't think you have Andromeda, Bultrice (or something like that)...

Then again, snakes don't care if their name is feminine or masculine, so you could get away with naming females with guy's names. LOL
