In short, I ordered an animal on KS and the seller changed his mind and decided not to sell after he got the money. So I took another animal that he was selling and it turns out was sexed incorrectly! So to make up for it he sent me a pair of free "Possible het pied" balls that I didn't ask for. Obviously I can't trust this either, but it got me thinking:

Do all, or most, het pieds show the marker trait?

I have observed that between 70 to 80 % of all het pied babies have markers.

My 100% het pied has nothing interesting in the way of markers, yet I have other snakes who are not het pied, including one who isn't het for anything, that have markers.

You should probably try to get your money back, give him back his snakes, and deal with a reputable seller.

That is unacceptable, this breeder needs to be known to everyone for backing out on a done deal, please post your story on the B.O.I.

You did not get what you asked for, DO NOT LET THIS LOW LIFE GET AWAY WITH IT, post on the B.O.I. so that others do not deal with this idiot...

What/where is the BOI? This deal was shady in way too many ways. I didn't know there was a way of reporting bad deals or I would have done it as soon as it happened!

You can update your email address for your kingsnake account in 'My Account'. I suggest anybody who has an old 'dead' email address for their kingsnake account to update it to a more current one. There are many reasons for this, one being if your password stops working for whatever reason, you can use the 'forgot your password?' link to have kingsnake email you a new password. This can't be done if your email address registered with your account, is one you can't access anymore,

Also, it allows posters here to be able to contact you by clicking on your account name to send you private messages/emails if they have a question or want to ask you something they don't want to post on the forum (ie asking about any snakes you are selling, which can't be done on open forum)

So in short, you're 2 1/2 bad deals removed from your original deal? Sounds to me, like you're going to end up w/a incorrectly sexed snake that probably is no use to you, and two normals! THINK ABOUT IT!
