fresh deppei

alstotton Aug 23, 2010 02:07 PM

Well after a few barren years,I'm so very pleased to have hatched three 2010 deppei.Even though I got a clutch of several slugs from one girl, just to hatch one would have made me happy enough.
Anyhows from my other girl I also ended up with slugs, but also three good eggs in the clutch.

One of the eggs was literally the smallest pit egg i've ever seen, surprisingly enough that was the first to pip/hatch
The small one i've dubbed 'tiny' is almost cornsnake size and approx half the size of the two siblings!!,did not stop it from taking a decent sized pinky pre slough though!!

The founding adults I imported from Lloyd Lemke in '97 and of my original group of 2.3 I still have 1.2 going strong.
I'm so happy to be able to carry his lines on in both my deppei and jani groups

Always a fav of mine and certainly very calm and handsome pits overall in my humble opinion

Thanks for lookin'

Rgds........AL

heres 'tiny' next to sibling for size comparison.
