Graet time in Daytona!

LucasMatlock Aug 23, 2010 02:37 PM

I just wanted to say that even though there were not as many boas as i would have like to have seen in Daytona this year, i was able to meet a spent time with a few new friend in the industry. Thanks to Dr Warren Booth, Manny Frade and "Mr Boaphile" Jeff Ronne for their great conversations and time spent with me. I realize with so much to see that time is very limited. I wish i was able to meet more of you that frequent the forums but because i do not know faces (except Mr Boaphile's) in the industry it will take time.

I also would like to thank USARK, board members and volunteers, for there dedication and time spend fighting for all of our rights to keep and bread these beautiful animals that we so dearly love. With that being send, i would love to see the people in charge of these events start given a portion of the proceeds to USARK because without their continue fight our hobby / profession and their "shows" will be gone as we know it. I know that USARK had a great auction and raised some money but not enough. The people that are trying to take our industry away from us have an unlimited supply of money. PLEASE get involved with USARK with your money, time and or knowledge (Dr Warren) Keep fighting and I look forward to meeting many more of you in the years to come.

Dr Lucas Matlock

It was by far one of the best times I've had at Daytona. I really enjoyed the time i spent getting to know the other Boa lovers such as you Lucas, and Warren Booth, a world class act. Also met and shared tons with Hermin the Sangria man, and last but definitely not least the professor Mr. Ronne, whom I owe muc of my success to and in my honest opinion perhaps the greatest brain in the boa world!

Lucas,
I can honestly say that I had a blast at this years show, despite the lack of boas. To be able to hang out with you, Manny (and side kick Kelvin (or should that be Kevin, lol), and Jeff (I snore like a Neanderthal) Ronne, was fantastic.
Once my schedule clears up a little I will have to make arrangements to get down and spend a few days with you and Manny.

How did you get on removing that ARS system from your truck. I had no idea that was going to be so heavy, lol.

What do you mean I snore? No way!

At least I don't snore like a baby, and I'm not too foreign either... LOL

A little ancient perhaps, but not foreign...
