Hey There,
Can anyone tell me how the green phase works?
Is it a morph or a normal occuring color? If a pair of greens are bred together, what comes out? Whats their value? Etc any and all info would be appreciated. I just picked up a pair of VERY green babies at Daytona this weekend, I am a novice when it comes to breeding for colors but have kept for years.

I currently own 1.2 Malagasy Giants, 1.1 Malagasy Blondes 2.2 Western Hogs (normal, red albino, and greens)and 1.0 Tri-Color.

These are the babies I picked up at Daytona.

Where'd you get the Tri-color?

Green will produce Greens, it's a line trait, not a genetic trait like albinism. Greens are some of my favorite normals, definably my favorites out of all my normals.

Cheers,
Chad

Are those Chad Fuchs animals?

They were produced by Nearhood Reptiles, unrelated pair.

Greens are normals. It is genetic but it is not a recessive gene like amel, anery, etc. You could start your own project with that pair. I've always been fond of the greens and that is a real nice pair that you picked up in Daytona.
