Housing question

DiamondFlame10 Aug 24, 2010 12:00 PM

I've talked to people who use 6 qt, 16qt, 28qt, and 41qt tubs for housing. At what weight should I be using those? I have my hatchlings in 6 qt tubs and would like to move my larger 400g female from her 10gallon tank. Could Anyone let me know what the best sizes are to use for which size snake? Thanks!

There are no steady rules about when to move your snake to a larger bin. It's more about common sense (although unfortunately, it's not so common these days...)
If your snake has room to grow in the bin he's in, leave him.
If he looks cramped, move him.
