A nice day for an MBK pic

Nokturnel Tom Aug 24, 2010 12:08 PM

After trying to capture the correct colors of a snake with a camera it's always nice to have such a photogenic snake with no special adjusting necessary to show it off.
In my recent clutch pic you should notice the light pattern. This goes away after 1-2 sheds and the white flecking along the belly also almost always disappears completely. I have produced several hundreds of these over the years, these are awesome Kings.

You cannot appreciate that inky blackness til you hold them in your hands and look at them in person IMO!! They are the reason I have a pair of MBKs and dont have black pines or black milks. All around great size and temperament, and basically jet inky black. What more could you ask for in a jet black snake?? LOL!! I have a pair of 09s that should go season after next.

That is a Patternless Bull, I have an Albino Patternless on the Pit forum I posted a few weeks ago... you can probably find it on page one.

Had a pair years ago. They were some of my favorites. Named the male Houdini. He would find ways out cages other snakes would not. Always found him 4-6 months latter, outside the house but always near by.

I have a pair of 2008 MBK's from Tom and I can say there is no speckling at all, jet black. If I can figure out how to get pics on here I will. Awesome snakes

You know, I was just admiring my own MBK last night. There is something awfully attractive about that shiny onyx blackness. Maybe I'll get mine a mate one of these days!

gotta be the #1 snake in my collection, I have lots of nice animals but these guys have always fed for me, shed for me, and next year I hope they'll have bred for me. Calmest, coolest handling snake out there. A classic in all ways, great work Tom!
