Do anoles get lonely? I have had a male green anole for a few years now, and I was thinking about getting him a mate.

No, they're not exactly social animals and don't get lonely. That said, if you have the space, there's no problem in adding a female. If you truly care about the anole, though, quarantine the new one for a few months to make sure everything is fine.
