The monster and the tiny twin

FastDad Aug 24, 2010 05:07 PM

The other day I was at the house of my buddy to take some pics for register the new hatchlings.
In one of our last clutches we had a set of twins! They did hatch out of the smalest egg in the clutch.
I thought it will be cool to take the weight and length from our biggest female in opposite as well.

So at first the "monster"
She is 104cm/41inch long and ...take a look at the scale

and now...one of the tiny twins
Both weigh 2gramm only!!!
They act fine and do fed on their own...they have a favor for feets
A little explanation: I take pics from all of our hatchlings to register them on my pc. For this I put them all in the same little tub with some bedding and take the pics under the same conditions.
I show you a couple of normal sized hatchlings in this tub at first, so you will get an idea how tiny the twins are

now you´re prepared

Please tell me you forgot to tare the scale when you out that bowl on there because if that hog really weighs over 1000 grams I'm speechless!
