Neat locality hatchlings

bbox Aug 24, 2010 08:13 PM

I just thought that I would share a rarely seen locality that I was able to produce this year with some help from Andrew Godambe. These are from the cuts just outside of Fort Davis on 118,near the entrance to the State Park.

Sorry for the poor quality. I was in a hurry and they were being uncooperative.
Here are the parents.

Not great. I may get one baby. Next year I will have three adult females. Maybe better luck then. I have had a lot of trouble getting good eggs from this female.

My Limpia female will be ready next year. She was acquired from Dan Vermilya in 2006 (Buzz Ross stock) to pair up my wc male. However, I’ve never really stopped looking for a female with a more DIRECT lineage (offspring>snake>collector/breeder), so please keep trying.

You take great photos Bryan! I'm glad you were able to get that old girl to produce.
