SUPER CINNAMON CALICO!

nextworld3 Aug 26, 2010 01:21 AM

Well he finally shed! My gf asked if i hatched one could she name it a Super Cinnaminacal and i said if i get one you can call it whatever you want... well thats its name lol (you can call them Super Cinnamon Calicos)

Only down side is the only Calico in this clutch was the lowest white one i have ever produced, and if a mom throws low whites the whole clutch is generally low white... So this guy is probably the low white version... Have 2 more chances and one of the cinny girls always throws high whites! So we shall see...

This pic is of the female produced in this clutch (on the right), who im not sure yet what she is... And a male super cinnamon (top pic) from another clutch to show the difference

Website!

Sweet Jon!! Congrats on a FIRST!! Those eyes are trippy -- kind of like the eyes of the cat in "Pet Sematary".

I would've never guessed "Calico" on that one! Paradox maybe, but not Calico! Awesome!

I was thinking the same thing here. It is definitely Super Cinnamon...and it definitely has a patch there that looks Calico to me. Any time someone produces a Super with a patch of pattern on it we call it a Paradox and consider it to be non-genetic.

Other than that patch on its side, does it have other traits that show Calico?

I know what a paradox is =)

The Paradox spot is a Cinnacal patch, not a cinnamon patch. Thats 1 sign. The other is that it is much lighter then the other super cinnamons i have hatched and the white comes up much higher on the sides. As with all Calicos, especially low whites, it takes a few months for the white speckling to really show. Id say in 6 months this guy will be pretty amazing!

Very Cool Jon! I have been pairing that calico girl from you with a VPI Black Pastel. Curious to see how the other clutches come out, so far its looking kind paradox like.

I have seen this snake in person and this is the real deal! Just look at the white creeping up the sides compared to the super cinny with a white ringer. also look at the paradox spot you can clearly see it looks like a Cinical

Hey!
It would be neat if they all were paradox! Good luck with your pairing!

Is there any black pastel calicos made? I know Jeremy Stone made the calico black pewter. Im curious to see if cinacals will look different from "Black Calicos".
