I know at least some of you have been waiting for the post shed anery pics. Problem is they are not shedding. Born on 08/02. only two have shed so far. Most of my next litter born on 08/12 (10 days later) shed yesterday. They are eating and pooping, just not shedding. My first experience with newborn aneries so may be normal?? I just find it odd that 10/12 are taking so long to shed.

Well, I got pics of two of them to share at least...

TA-PE-1008 Male

and TA-PE-1012 Male (this one would not hold still for the pics)

It's strange that they haven't shed yet, but those two that have look amazing.

Well, when the "I'm outa here" didn't work, he decided to "circle the wagon"!!

Of course interspersed with multiple "I'm gonna git you sucka". I think there was even a successful "tag, you're it" at some point!!

Nah, might miss one here and there in the paper towels but not 10/12. Plus each one is in it's own individual tub and I can clearly tell which ones have shed just by looking at them.

Just checked on them this morning and still no more have shed. Guess it's just gonna take however long it takes. They're all eating so that's a great sign.

Yes, I did confirm that with Brian, he has not done an Anery x Anery pairing so mine is the first. Pretty cool huh?

Brian has been producing them for several years now, my first one from him was in 2006 and I don't know if he had any prior to that. If so, only a year or two at most. (I think)

Brian was focusing on another project this year and missed on his Anery's. He will not have any until next year at the earliest.
