Many of you have probably seen pictures of "Jungle" balls as babies. They are really beautiful, but unfortunately not genetic. I hatched a female Jungle from a breeding between my original pair of het for Clowns purchased from Tracy Barker. This Jungle girl was a very picky F/T rat feeder and grew slowly. I finally gave up and started feeding her F/T Jumbo mice and she took off. I bred her to a Clown male for the first time and just got some good eggs. I have always felt she was a het, so hopefully in a few weeks I will know. It's hard to see in these pictures, but she has really neat green eyes similar to a spider ball.

Are there any known Genetic lines of 'Jungle'?
Im sure the 'Jungle Clown' would be pretty interesting.

Of the type Jungle she is I don't think so. I know people have bred them together and just get normals. Some people think it is an egg stress thing and they might be right, but the clutch she was in was not stressed. I just hope she is het Clown, but really don't expect anything unusual to pop out. I know Tracy Barker had one similar to mine pop up in a poss het Clown batch, but I don't know if she ever bred it.

John! I forgot about that-and funny thing is I have another Jungle like that we hatched that is a het clown. She is ready to breed this year too. Let me know what happens!

I will for sure put out some pictures if anything happens. I still love Clowns and how old is that project now!
