OK...I got some issues some of you also agree with....
this is just for people to be informed...
even if they don't know they do it....
in ads it gets confusing nowadays.....ok...

caramel albino....NO....it's a caramel

cinnamon pastel....NO....it's a cinnamon

Black pastel.....well....calling it a black is more confusing I guess.......hmmmm...

Enchi pastel....NO...it's an Enchi now...

pastel jungle or jungle pastel.....it's 2 things....

lemon blast...?...are they all made with NERD line Lemon pastels..?..or just blasts?...(I call mine a blast)

high contrast albino....(that is low or even extremely low contrast) ..make sure it really is, or get better camera skills

can't think of any more at the moment...you all get the idea....maybe --even taking pics in shed sucks at times...certain snakes it doesn't matter but if it does...wait till it sheds?.....this doesn't bother me as much...

Sounds like you've thought this one through.
Quite a rant you have.
Cinnamon Pastel was the original name. If they they this is a "Cinnamon Pastel", then you can assume its just a Cinnamon. If they say, "Pewter", you know its a "Pastel Cinnamon". And there is obvious differences. I still refer to the Cinnamon as a "Cinnamon Pastel", on occasion. And I havent heard someone call a Pastel, a "Pastel Jungle", in a while. The name suits the snake, it has a Jungle Carpet Python look. Correct me if im wrong, but the name "Pastel Jungle" derived from the Color and Pattern of a Jungle Carpet Python. Unless you named it yourself, I dont think you should try to change it.

Yes, there was a post with a Jungle in it.
But its a completly differnt Mutation, not Pastel Jungle.
So you just made no sence.
And would you rather hear about a Super Pewter, or a Super Cinnamon Super Pastel? I personally find 'Super Pewter' much cooler, and shorter.
You put alot periods.
Thats my Peeve, so please stop it.

Caramel albinos, yes I have. I understand what you mean completely, but you do need to leave caramel albino out. In fact it is an albino. It just doesn't lack the colors that people associate with high contrast albinos. It still doesn't produce the skin pigment melanin, and has blood red eyes. So by definition they are without a doubt albinos. It is the word caramel technically that shouldn't be used. Sorry but you are wrong on this one.

ps I do completely agree with you about the others. I even say a co-dom morph posted in the last day or two that is being called the paint ball. This is going to add even more confusion for the seldom seen chocolate combo.

Um...the paint ball is it's own base morph.

Ok, I said correct me if I'm wrong so...anyway don't people refer to one of the chocolate combos as paintballs also? Maybe a super pastel chocolate if memory serves me...I don't know, so I really am asking, but seem to remember people referring to a chocolate combo as a paintball.

if I say I just bought a caramel het ghost you know what it is...
yes it has red eyes...but you still know what it is without the albino or T poss part...

I just wanted to ask people to think what they write...names are changing...sometimes there are 4 morphs in a snake and adding the wrong word can be confusing...and I personally bet people ad words to confuse people on purpose so they sell a snake faster with false hopes...

I also hate seeing ads that are labeled like "caramel albinos"
then you hit it and it comes up with a pic of a ncie snake and you see $500...so you read it and it says "this is the daddy or mother.and I'm selling these hets "...label it het in title...save me time....

kinda like you all want to save the dots...........

Yes I do understand your point very well. I would have to agree, and yes I do call my caramel albinos as caramels for short. I still am sticking to my guns as a caramel albino is the correct name, and not a confusing one maybe just longer then we would like to say at times. Everything else needs to be labeled as to what it is. I say ditch the stupid combo names for most stuff and just call it by what it is e.i. super pastel cinny, or pastel spider instead of a bumblebee (I realize these are easy and I doubt anyone gets confused on these now, but just an example). I think some people do miss label ads in hopes of tricking people into looking when they know they otherwise wouldn't. Its hard not to agree with you. I just think some people like riding their high horses.

Well, I'll start at the one that stands out. Why is a black pastel on your list? It's not a pastel in any way, it's a morph on it's own called a Black Pastel, similar (if not the same) as a Cinnamon. So calling it anything else would be useless.

Everything else...They started out with those names. The original name of Caramel is Caramel Albino. Same with Cinnamon Pastel.
Maybe you find it confusing, but most people don't, and some of the bigger breeders prefer the original names over the short forms.

However, I do agree with the shedding. Should wait until the animal is out of shed.

I know the origional names....I been doing this since the first "ball types" on Kevin's table were "black backed" and "stripey"....like $500.....(they were $3 balls back then with madeup names ,unproven)....

as already stated the caramel albino is an albino its either a t or t- i forget which (whichever a regular albino is not) id think for someone whos been around "as long as you" you would know something that simple.

i do agree with the cinnamon and enchi and jungle thing though. using pastel on them is really dated, and the jungle is just flat out incorrect since it referred to specific ones from a specific area

haha you're guess is as good as mine on that one, i didn't get the pleasure of naming it. id guess because since it technically is an albino they wanted to keep that part of the name just for descriptive purposes, and caramel because obviously they have that color to them
