Sulfur Crystal Mojave !

anthony james mc Aug 29, 2010 05:11 PM

First of it's kind I think! As most already know by now the Sulfur gene is another bloodline of Black Eyed Leucistic like the Fire. I bred the Super Crystal (Super Special same thing) to a female Sulfur Mojave and this is the first one out so far. Another Crystal has it's head out and it appears to be ALOT darker pigmented so I think it's pretty safe to say this must be what a Sulfur Crystal looks like! The Sulfur gene being a codom hypo did exactly what I expected it would do and erased some of the purple pigment out of the Crystal and made it a couple shades lighter. I think it will end up as light or maybe slightly lighter than what a Lesser Crystal develops into. This will be an interesting triple codom to breed into some of my other projects! If I hatch another one of these from the clutch I will repost in a day or two but for now they aren't quite ready so I'm just leaving them alone (hard to do BTW !)

Hope everyone is hitting the odds they are shooting for!

Congratulations, but next time, could we see more of the actual snake and less of the background?

Badass! Its nice to finally see a new Crystal cross! Cant wait for Crystal Spiders!

Thanks Tom! I actually had 2 of them ,the other is just as nice maybe even a tad lighter than this, very easy to tell next to a classic Crystal Mojave. Both are girls so I'll just keep them around for the future crosses. Still hope to make a Mystic Crystal yet , just have my fingers crossed that the odds work out as I have a limited shot this year to make them.

Take it easy man,
