Herpstat vs helix help!

skincity702 Aug 29, 2010 06:22 PM

I'm looking to set up a big rack system with 32 adult tubs 20 juvie tubs and 30+ hatchling tubs all with separate controls. I would like to know what people think about these two thermostats. Though the herpstat is a fairly new addition after reading about them I like their features and the fact that when I hook it up to my computer I can keep an active tracking log and it can send me alerts via email to my phone. Let me know what you think. Any comments are appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
-JT

That is not an equal comparison, the Herpstat out shines the Helix even at its basic unit. The Herpstat Pro, is well beyond what Helix DBS-1000 provides.

I run a Herpstat ND and am purchasing a Herpstat Pro shortly...I love their product.

The Herpstat retails for about $30 less then the Helix, and has many more functions, and is more user friendly. They are both made in the USA, and have good customer support.
