....and well worth the wait! I will give more details and have photos up within a couple days.
The first litter was born on day 107 POS. The sire(father) is a 06 WC. He was collected as a 26 inch juv. The dam(mother)was purchased in 05 from Mike E. as CB from a WC X WC breeding. I believe she is the sister to his Golden Girl female.(Will have to check my records to make sure). Anyway, she dropped a small litter of 3 last season and some slugs and did not loose much weight. So, conditioned her more in hopes she would go this season. Bred a different male this year to her and received 27 gems and 4 slugs! I had high expectations for this litter and hoped to get 10-20 nice tailed, symetrical peaked, minimal speckeled, and nice red medallioned Guyana Bcc's. So this pair over reached my expectations with just a great healthy very colorful litter of 27 that will only improve with every shed.
The second litter was born within 24 hours of the first. The sire is a 03 WC and the female is a 02 WC, both from Guyana. I will give more details on them later. This was her first litter and this pairing worked extra nice also landing 19 neonates and 5 slugs. They are very uniform and symetrical and have nice thick peaks.
Just could not be happier with both these litters as having relocated 3 times in the last 4 years did not help with breeding Bcc's! As I said, I will have more info and photos soon. Congrats to all that had Bcc success this year!
