2010 Platinums AKA Platty Daddies

chad-hulker Aug 30, 2010 03:48 PM

I was very fortunate to hatch a few of these this season from lesser x farm bred "normal". Apparently she carried the platty gene into my collection and happened to be bred to the right male. Just wanted to share a few pics of how they're turning out.

Pic of the clutch after hatching

After 1st shed

2 sheds and several meals later (photos taken in light tent w no flash)

Thanks everyone for looking!

That's a pretty cool breeding outcome.

Is the female normal normal, or does she have any traits that caught your eye??

Either way, that's a pretty cool breeding outcome.

Congrats on those Platinums.

Thanks Alice, they're definately exciting to work with..and the potential to mix other morphs in makes it even better!. As far as the female normal, i do not notice any difference in her at all...maybe once i produce more and see more examples i may be able to see something but its very "normal" looking.

Chad, I still think these little gems are gorgeous! When I saw them at your table in Daytona I was amazed. Congrats!
