Congrats ! But I do not understand this SIM container, the same productivity You will have with every other container. The clue is in humidity and ventiation ( or no ventilation ) rather than container.

Best regards
Grzegorz

Thanks for your comment...

The SIM container is the only one of its kind in the world... It is a container designed to incubate reptile eggs... It is the only container in production that utilizes the suspension technigue with the egg stabilization rail system...

Eggs are not sitting in damp or wet substrates... They are suspended over the substrate... The eggs stay dry during incubation but still get the needed humidity without it being forced on them... Being that the eggs stay dry, mold issues are decreased dramatically... Also by being suspended over the substrate, it allows for maximum oxygen absorbtion and very minimum Carbon dioxide absorbtion... This, in turn helps embryos to develop faster and completely before exiting the egg...

You do not need to worry about water to substrate ratios and you can use any moisture retaining substrate as a medium... Being that the eggs stay dry, mold issues are decreased dramatically

Some people will look at it as just a container... People who have used it can tell you it is much more...

Thanks for the comments everyone...

I have all this features in my technique of incubation.

I put vermiculite with water in box (8:1) and put eggs in it, buried in 1/3 of egg. Everything I do during 55 days of incubation is checking once a week if everything is fine - making this needed ventilation (but once a 2 week is also ok).

I do not say that they are bad, if someone have problems with incubation, great, perfect box for him. On last episode of snake bytes.tv You can see how colubrids is incubated, nothing sophisticated like SIM

Grzegorz

If you like the traditional way of incubating that is fine... The SIM just offers a fool proof way of incubating... Again, no fussing with ratios... The containers are clear as glass so you can monitor your eggs without messing with them... On top of what I explained in my previous post to you, it offers an easier way to incubate with a much more professional look...

Cant really knock a reptile product that actually does what it says it does...

There are at least 4 hog breeders on this site who use them or will be using them next season... I am sure they could give you a rundown of the function and quality of the SIM...
