Quick question

Karu Sep 25, 2003 08:12 AM

Well, it's become fall and both my adult leos have stopped eating almost completely. I rarely will notice any stool in their cage. Are anyone elses leos stopped eating too? I would guess they can sense the change of seasons and it does drop a little lower then normal at night, while still being in the correct range. Maybe this little temp. drop has got them thinking it's time to stop eating. They are also much less active, only moving about to go to the warm side. Anyone else experiance this?

yep, if they can sense the seasons changeing they will slow down on eating. Mainly it is because they are instinctivly slowing down for a hibernation kinda. They eat less to clean out their system. Since they are slowing down though they also need less food.
