Albino Miami pics

I've really been swamped lately with many hatchlings that won't eat on their own. Gotta love this hobby! Here are the surprise Miami albinos that hatched. Perfect ratio too,(1.2)!

One of the three has taken about 5 pinks by tease feeding. The other two have taken at least one each.

That is certainly good news!. At least they are getting something down them until they get real good feeding responses.

I really think I'm gonna buy a pinky pump. It used to make feeding trouble feeders, a breeze. I ruined mine by cleaning the plastic barrel with alcohol. It swelled up and I could never fit it back into the syringe. The glass barrel cracked from dropping it. Last I check the little rubber gasket crumbled away. It has to be well over 20 years old. I saw one advertised for 29.00 dollars. So I'll probably get a good deal on one at the Tampa expo.

I managed to catch 4 baby anoles today while working on my horse fence. Probably a bad idea, but what the heck! They've gotta eat. I think three of those four babies did eat their lizards. Naturally, the one little girl that is special still refuses. I see mouse tails on the horizon.

Very cool Amy!

I have usually found that live anoles tend to jump all over the place, including all over the snake too in the tight quarters of a small container. This usually seems to scare them more often than not. When I have fed anoles in the past, I made sure they were very stunned, or better yet dead(frozen preferably). This also far lessens the chance of them ingesting any parasites within the lizard's intestinal tract.

In any case though, glad you got that little special one to finally accept something!!. Keep us posted on how she does

It's funny I am not a big fan of the Amel Corns, yet these little guys are really cool. Maybe cause I did not expect them or the fact that they look so pink right now. I am gonna keep them at least untill they mature and see what they look like as adults.
