'Hearing' question

Hello everyone. I'm a first-time snake owner (and LOVING my ball python!) and I have a question that I can't seem to find an answer to.

I live in a VERY rural area, and my very OLD house is overrun with mice. My brother just picked up a 'sonic repellent' to try, and it says that, quote: "sound pulses 68 to 80 times per second at 103 dB (decibels)." It says it won't hurt dogs or cats, but I can't seem to find anything about snakes.

I want to get rid of the mice, but I absolutely DON'T want to make my snake uncomfortable. Does anyone know a place where I can find the answer to this? Thank you in advance.
