Spotnose clutch ???s

hurqleys Sep 04, 2010 11:27 AM

This is my second clutch of spotnose this year but these lil girls have me questioning what they heck they are. They resemble more of a Het Red but these girls dont have the diffinative spotnose characteristics like the more obvious siblings. These two have head spots, spots on the nose, and dirty bellies.

They don't look like Het Reds thats for sure. They could be normal or just lesser quality spotnose?

I will get some better pics once they shed. They are in their first shed now and they are so shiny its hard to tell even for me in person. The 2 in question have head spots, nose spots, and the weird pattern with the lighter color. They even have the dark black out line around the upper lip and eye stripe with the fading on top like the obvious spotnoses from the same clutch. Like some else said my initial gut told me maybe they are just lower grade spotnoses but i will have to see after they shed to evaluate them more. The only reason i stated they look like het reds is because she may have been with my male het red but I am pretty sure it was a prior female not this one. Thanks
