Hi,

I've been trying to figure out if anyone breeds a gecko like I'm hoping to find. I've never come across a photo that represents what I'm looking for, so I'm opening it up to you all in hopes that someone has one or has seen one.

First off, I prefer Leos with normal spotting patterns. It seems that most folks are aiming for Hypos with their breeding projects, but I've always liked the classic look best. That said, I also really like the intense tangerine coloration that is available now.

So what I've been looking for is a Leo with a bright orange body color and with the full black spotting of a normal.

But is anyone doing this?

I have seen them, don't know who is working on them. I think there is a pic in The Leopard Gecko Manual, halloween morph is what they are called I believe.

closest thing i personally have seen is this gecko

i got her last year from tribal propogation. i have been looking for a mate for her of similar appearance but have yet to find exactly what im looking for. this up coming breeding season i will be breeding her to a very tangerine male with a dark patterned head and small amts of black on the back, maybe i can produce just one that looks like her... i can have my dreams. we shall see what next year brings and hopefully one of these days i can find a similar male

When i was engaged my fiance and i picked out matching gold celtic wedding bands. They were very nice. I've been looking for a ring that has little lizards going all around it, so far no luck. I might actually make one myself as we did peuter work in school and i could use one of the pics of my leos as a template.

He is acually at a friends house now(I had alot of males and needed some room). I think they look alike.

i really like his lookd and i think he would pair up nice with her. this girl is sooo unique its hard and he is very close to what im looking for. very nice thank you for posting pics of him

I'm trying to find that stuff that tastes bad - for thumb suckers - and paint it on his nails. LOL.

That leo turned out really nice - very unique looking. If I remember, that was the 3rd leo I JUST MISSED getting from Tribal!!! LOL

and those are russ's hands but he doesnt bite his nails, he is a machinist and works with plastics and metals and harsh chemicals. i chew my finger nails BAD mine are little numbs i have tried everything but i chew that off too

This guy came from Albey a year and half ago. He's got a real cool rusty orange color to him, but no carrot tail. He is huge, too. He's currently my biggest at 94g.
