Built my hatchling and yearling rack

Z_G_Reptiles Sep 06, 2010 11:10 PM

I just built this rack this weekend, Its 36 x 36 x 18 and it fits 7qu=t shoebox containers with latching lids like paul has and also the 14qt version aswell and fits some of my larger cages that dont exceed 7" tall

all i need to do it paint the inside and the edges to seal it up

I think I'll use it to hold some of my yearling blood pythons aswell

That rack looks great. One thing I'd consider is putting a few less holes in your tubs. I probably have a third to half as much ventilation as you, and the water dish alone keeps the humidity about 90%. Before you drill holes in the rest of your tubs, you could test it out.

Thanks Paul, those tubs are from my blood pythons of 09, keeps about 75% humidity with no misting and provides and with a mist like once a week, which i'll be changing the papers MUCH more then that, lol it keeps it around 90%. When I get the newer tubs I'll put less holes in them.

Thanks
