Go to the classifieds! You can gewt a feel for it there!

did that till i was blue in the face, but the biggest one listed is only 600 grams, so it doesn't help to much.
thanks anyway.

It depends if it is a proven breeder. You could sell it for more than one thousand and even more if it has breed before

The classifieds is still your best place to go. If you can't find 2000g or breeding weight female spiders listed, look for other similar morphs (mojave, pastel, pinstrip etc) and adjust accordingly.

In the end, it is probably simpler to decide what you want to get for the snake. If you are happy with $500 then ask for 20-30% percent more and take the offer matching your minimum price wanted. You can certainly just ask a high price like $2000 but state you will take bast offer...

Though with the co-dom morphs females and males don't seem to have much difference in price, sometimes the males are more than females...as they can impregnate many females whereas one female can only have one 'father' of her babies. (and only 5-7 eggs). So wouldn't hurt to check prices of adult male spiders.

proven breeder pastels I see usually are around $1000ish so id say the price on a spider female maybe...say..$1250-1300..again like he was saying if its proven id say 1500 OBO...so around $1100-$1500 is a good price rage for a female spider!! goodluck for seasons to come

"The price of co dom males and females doesn't seem to matter, so check the price of a male spider."

That has to be the single worst piece of advise I have heard to date. Maybe if we are talking hatchlings, but we arn't we are talking about a large ready to breed female which will fetch a MUCH higher premium then a male of equal size. Bottom line 1500 gram spider male $200-$300, being that the season is kicking off in less than a month will also help determine the value of the spider in question. You are able to buy her this year, drop her on a powerful male and get 10 fold of the original investment of the spider female. Breeders know this, that is why prices are higher for females this time of year, let alone ready to breed females. I would price her abound $2000 and I bet you would have some people interested at least to make a quick clutch out of her. If that doesn't work than $1500, it would be foolish to take less because you could breed her yourself, sell the babies, and sell her for $1000 after she lays. All this comes into play with adult morphs at this time of year. And Lady good luck finding an adult female spider (or any morphs for that matter) anywhere in the same neighborhood as a male, breeding time or not.

There was no need to be so mocking in your response. If you read my post carefully you would have seen I used terms like 'seems' and 'sometimes'. However I definitely encouraged using the classifieds as a way to find a decent price range, or breeder sites.

I haven't priced spiders etc in years, much less adults...and most I do price are at shows in Canada...and the prices here can be alot different (mostly much more expensive, even for males), thus I was guessing based on what has been talked about here and prices I have seen. Either way, I don't mind being told I am wrong, but there was no way to belittle.

good for you and good for buyer is three different things...I saw spiders around 600 earlier...not as big maybe but breedable after feeding this winter....so.....they said pastels 1000...well...we sold alot online...big breeders....400....2 for seller and 2 for dealer....so it depends on what you want ....for 1000 I'd sell some pastels.....LOL....really....
spiders....hmmm....maybe them too.....as for male //female...males aren't worth squat......
