2 of my 3 Dinker babies shed this week. The lighter colored one is a female, the darker one a male. There is one more male but he hasn't shed yet so isn't in the photos. Can't wait to see how they look as they get older. Both have the same "dotty" pattern down their backs that I've seen on many Pewters but they seem to have too much yellow to actually be Pewters. Their mom was an import from Africa who looked like a Cinnamon as a baby but grew up to be crazy dark. Dad is a Pastel who is actually the son of the Mom from a previous breeding prior to my buying the pair.

Here is a pic of the two Dinker kids. I took another pic with a normal baby tossed in for comparison. The Normal is not related to the Dinkers.

Thank you for posting with a normal...it really makes it easier to see the differences and those two definitely have alot of differences in appearance...very strong blushing and almost granite like speckling...no clue what they are but definitely worth keeping as a 'dinker' project

very nice looking dinkers you have there i would be suprised if the 2 on the bottom pic dont prove to be something either way great looking animals regards

Forgot to mention, I finally got around to naming them...

The Darkest male is Severus Snape. The lighter male who has not shed yet is Igor Karkaroff. The light colored super dotty female is Madame Xiomara Hooch.

They will have to "grow into" their names as they aren't exactly 'cute baby names'...

Here is a pic of the first 3 baby balls to hatch, normals 66% ph caramel, all 3 are females; and a pic of the 3 dinker kids pre-shed (Severus/top, Igor/middle, Xiomara/bottom). I'm enjoying my first year as a Ball Python breeder. Just hoping I can get them all eating. I'm used to breeding Colubrids that eat f/t mice right from the start with no issues. I've offered f/t and live to all of the ball babies, no luck yet...

I notice you do not have your BP breeding game banner on your Kingsnake signature yet... I did discover that as I go up levels, it does automatically update the banner in my sig line so I never have to redo it... happy about that.
