Pastel Calico Champagne...

Pitoon Sep 11, 2010 03:46 PM

I was at the Hamm show here in Germany today. I saw the Pastel Calico Champ in person. Seems like it colored up a bit from when it was a hatchling.

I'll post more pics of the show tomorrow, but for now here's the PCC.....

George and I were just saying "we know what Dan will be working on this year" after seeing that combo. Looks like some of your breeding plans have to be altered Dan.

Eric,
You and George have me pegged. My plans were altered within the first five minutes of seeing a photo of that snake!

Thanks again for the wild Daytona swamp adventures.

Yeah Dan like Eric said we were discussing just how wide your smile is right now.So have you already picked out your Pastel Calico females yet? Im sure your Champagne will be a busy boy, lol.Good luck, talk to you soon and say hello to Sandy for me, George

Yeah, the other plans I had for the Pastel Calico females next season just went out the window when I saw the Pastel Cal Champ. As pretty as that is, it may be a while before I try some of the other crosses.

See you guys in Chicago next month?
All the best,
Dan

I am sure Eric will be in Chicago, i am not sure about me as of yet. Being the Floridian that i am, i rarely enjoy leaving the warmth of my home state for bone chilling temps below 50 degress, lol. However if you and Sandy are going to be there il have to consider the trip. Does Chicago have any Swamps?Il keep in touch, thanks again for Daytona, that swamp experience would not have been the same without you two in the boat. Talk to you soon, George

Is English that universal?

customreptiles Sep 11, 2010 07:36 PM

English is taught as a second language at schools in alot of different countries.

>>Is English that universal?

When there is people from all around the europe who goes to the show or breeders go to, it's normal to have it in english.
It's sort of the universal language (before chinese get all over it).

It's the same here in Quebec. Mostly only english is used, even if 90% speak french.

I would be able to communicate in English with a good number of the people there?

Pitoon Sep 12, 2010 05:37 PM

You'll be ok if you ever make a trip to Europe in general.....just think i've been living in Italy since 1997. Even though i now speak Italian, i have no clue on French, German, etc.....

English (the language) is everywhere....it's standard.

you plan on making a trip over? I'll be at the December Hamm show we could meet up for a beer.
