2010 Jungle Snow Litter... Well Almost.

ceniceros Sep 12, 2010 01:14 PM

This one was weird, i bred a Jungle het. anery 66% het. albino (proved het. albino) to an albino het. snow female, well the female dropped yesterday and i got 1 Snow boa and it was a jungle snow but was the only one that came out kinked and dead Just my luck. Well anyway what else was weird was the whole litter came out albino?? Which about only half should have been albino and also there was only 1 snow jungle which statistically there should have been about 25% aneries in the litter. Hmmm...

The female was a virgin and this jungle het. anery male now het. albino was the only male with her. Crazy odds? I dont know.

Heres the father Jungle het. anery het. albino

The Jungle Snow

I think you lucked out pretty good. They look awesome. Has the albino het anery female ever been bred by an albino before? That is the only thing I could think of on the whole litter being albino. Super stoker for you that your jungle proved out to be a double het snow. That is a great thing to have lying around. We are going for some next Dec. Try again and make some more snow jungles.

Are they any healthy snow jungles out there?

This female was a virgin and bred for the first time, i also didnt have any other male in there.

Ive never seen a snow jungle produced yet.

Hey Richard, I'm glad to see that male proved out for you but that stinks about the outcome...

One good thing, you know he's het Albino now. Hopefully you'll have better luck with him this season... I have the brother to yours that will go for sure this year. I just hope he proves out to be het Albino too. He's not as nice looking as yours but he does have the same eyes, if that truly is a marker for albinism.

I'm hoping the male I got from you, will be ready to go late this year too...

Congrats,

Chaz
