A Pueblan Request..

jhnscrg Sep 12, 2010 06:09 PM

Hi guys, anybody who breeds or keeps Pueblan Milks. I was wondering if you could post some pics of any morphs, like the Apricots ( I recently added an Apricot Pueblan to my Herp collection) as I'm getting really curious about them now.
...And of course, the Magic Word! PLEASE could you?

Sincerely,
Matthew

Doug,

Wow! That looks more like a Tangerine Pueblan to me! I should've known you'd be the first to post a real screamer. Absolutely stunning!

Sincerely,
Matt

Thanks Matt!,.....

I have pretty much been kicking myself since the mid 90's for selling these. These were the nicest one's I have ever seen, and the guy had a huge bucket of them at a small local Ft. Lauderdale show we both used to go to all the time. He had so many gorgeous one's it was extremely tough to choose the exact pair I wanted, but after a long while, I finally narrowed it down to that one and another killer sibling.

GOSH!, I wish I still had that smoking bloodline!..LOL!

thanks again Matt!

Doug, Doug, Doug, why bother kicking yourself..?
When we can do it for you! Drat! You probably knew I might ask about some available stock!
Well, when I check the sex of mine again (I'm pretty sure its female, but I wanna be 100% sure as I was looking at a nice female L. getula splendida at the same time)I'm going to go look for a fiance' for her! <g>

LOL!!,...yeah, I agree!

If I still had that orange/apricot line and never outcrossed them to lighter stock, they would certainly be in pretty fair demand today too. At the time I didn't have much of a choice in the matter though. Seems like all of us end up selling stuff from time to time we wish we didn't later on.

Good luck with finding a good mate for yours.

Doug,

Well, the Airlington Reptile Expo is next month, so HOPEFULLY..(Fingers crossed)
I really regret my first one died, it just never held a meal down, no matter what I did. Well, this one is healthy as a horse.

Yeah, that is a very unfortunate thing that many of us experience from time to time.

Good luck with this other one!

old pics of apricot (Home Grown Herps stock), hypo (pic and snake from Mike Falcon), and a sockhead from PetSmart.

Whoa! Great looking snakes! I always liked campelli but i never really noticed how beautiful they can be. Especially the apricots. I sadly lost my first one last year, but I'm starting again. I may decide to try to get into breeding thes guys myself.
Definitely.
Thanks for the pics!

Sincerely,
Matt
