Yes,I will email you with details. Anyone else that can help I will do the same. In short I have some tortoises that are limping and there is no appairent injury. It is confind to one group of three, and came up quite suddenly. They still eat and follow me around as always but with much diffaculty. I suspect mold from fruit, but am open to anyones input. We found fungi in a stool and it is at the lab for culture testing. Vic

My reply to you bounced for some reason.
I would try a blood draw for analysis. Could tell a lot regarding blood chemistry and organ function, I think. I'm pretty sure if blood chemistry is off, those symptoms might be present. Low Calcium, low Potassium, or excess heavy metal (Mercury) for instance.
Good luck.

Blood test are next in the process although I have never recieved anything usefull from them. I've sent two samples from the same animals in the past and got conflicting results or its "we dont know whats normal for that species ect." Blood from the front or the tail gets different results ect. I'm sure I'll do it again after the culture results just to cover all the bases. Exrays show very strong bone structure but there could be a shortage in the blood leavels due to some other disorder. What would be the source of Lead or Mercury? victortois@bellsouth.net Thanks Vic
