Yes.
You also need to ship through a designated port (usually Chicago) and let U.S. Fish & Wildlife know when the shipment's being made, so they can inspect it if they choose to do so. There may be inspection fees involved if the snakes are routed through the port of export at a time that isn't between 9:00AM-5:00PM.
You also need to book two flights (the snake must be shipped via airport-to-airport, not FedEx). One flight to the export port and another flight from the export port to the airport in the Great White North closest to your customer.
It costs a hundreds of dollars to legally ship to Canada. It also takes a few weeks to get the Export Permit. I've done it. It is not work doing unless you have a sale well over $1,000.

Thanks, Tim. That is just what I thought from reading the legislation. Not at all worth a few corn snakes. Too bad. And the way things are going with reptiles, we need to KEEP IT LEGAL!

You've got that right Amy.
Look what happened to Ship Your Reptiles.
We had a good thing shipping our snakes through SYR, good price, everything legal and above board and then some idiots took advantage and illegaly shipped venomous. Now there is no shipping of snakes through SYR.
Luckily another company is providing the same service but I keep my fingers crossed hoping the same thing doesn't happen to them.
