Adult copperhead, Oconee County. This guy was tough as nails!

Eastern Hognose Snake. DOR, Oconee County. This snake was barely alive when I found it. Some people had just hit it and were actually trying to help it off the road. This is rare to see as many people will actually back up to hit the snakes again. They thought it was a copperhead until I came along and verified the actual species. I still havent seen a live hognose snake in my whole life. This one was close though. Still barely alive

Hatchling black rat snake from Oconee County. Just busted out of the egg most likely! Would have surely been killed had I not have helped it out of the way of an approaching 18-wheeler>
