Eastern Kingsnake, McCormick County. Found this guy along a creek just as he was finishing up his morning hunt I presume. He was the largest Eastern Kingsnake I've ever seen in person (around 5ft ). First live king of the year!!!finally(seen about 5 DOR's).

Eastern Box Turtle, McCormick County. This one was interesting because it had a nearly perfect number 3 in its shell pattern. Could pick this one out of a lineup for sure!

Happy Herping!

That kingsnake is an awesome find.

The Dale Earnhardt box turtle made me chuckle. Was it abnormally fast?

LOL. I didnt even think about the connection with Earnhardt. The turtle was gone when I returned to the same spot a few minutes later. Maybe he put it in high gear and sped off!!
